Federal Surveillance Ends After Nearly Thirty Years
Germany’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution ends its surveillance of Scientology without ever substantiating the threat it invoked to justify it for nearly thirty years.

“But it does mark the collapse of one of the longest-running campaigns of state-sponsored religious discrimination in modern democratic Europe.”
